Polk County School DistrictWINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Louise Miller of Winter Haven died of complications following a stroke Friday (March 3, 2006) in Winter Haven. She was 78.Born in Miccosuke on Dec. 8, 1927, she came to Winter Haven from Leon County 60 years ago. She was a baker and worked in food services for the Polk County School District. She was a member of the Independent Pallbearers Society. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church.Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughter, Judy Fields, Winter Haven; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at First Missionary Baptist Church, Avenue R Northwest, Winter Haven. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in the Chris Brown Cemetery in Winter Haven. Charles A. Lewis Funeral Home, Winter Haven.
