Mrs. Johnson was a native of Paris, TN and was the daughter of the late William O. and Pearl Chandler Medlock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard N. Johnson, who died in 2012. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Carl Wenck will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Johnson is survived by five children, Rickie Johnson, Jeannetta Lewis and her husband David, and Richard N. Johnson, all of Murfreesboro, Michael Johnson and his wife Susan of Fayetteville, NC, and Alex M. Johnson and his wife Shirley of Murfreesboro; a brother, William Medlock of Florida; grandchildren Brad, Kyle, Josh, Jacob and Trey Johnson, Megan Bershon, Chris Kepler, Jennifer Vendro, Richard Lewis, Ada Dever, David Lewis, and eleven great- grandchildren.Mrs. Johnson was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was a 1943 graduate of Buchanan High School.Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
