Louise Meadows Johnson, 86, died June 28, 2012, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute. She was born in Quitman, Ga., and was a longtime resident of St. Lucie County. She attended the public schools of St. Lucie County and was a graduate of Lincoln Park Academy. She was retired from one of the local nursing homes as a dietary specialist and cook. She was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a member, minister of music and on the board of directors. Survivors include her stepdaughters, Rita Johnson and Francine Pinder, both of Miami; brother, George Meadows, of Trenton, N.J.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amy Lynch and Gabriel Meadows; stepson, Lloyd Johnson Jr.; and sister, Viola Pollard. Services: Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. July 5 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. July 6 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home Chapel.
