Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Louise Martin White, 85, of Gadsden, who passed away on July 14, 2013. The Rev. Michael Yopp will officiate. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home is in charge of services.Louise loved singing and had played the guitar since she was 9 years old.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley White; daughter, Doris Spicer, both of Bakersfield, Ca., son; Ronnie Martin, of Gadsden, Ala.; mother and father, James and Viola Morris; and two grandsons, Clint Copeland and Rodney Kiser.She is survived by her five daughters, Eddie Thompson, Elaine Cobb, both of Gadsden, Martha Martin, of Pell City, Theresa Money, of Piedmont, and Pamela Satterfield, of St. Joseph, Mo.; three sons; Rickey and Gene Martin, of Pell City, and Jackie Martin, of Bakerfield, Calif., brother; Ed Morris, of Southside; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Special thanks to Gadsden Regional Hospice.The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.www.ghbfuneralhome.com
