HAMMON, LOUISE MANBY, 93, died Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Regis Woods Care Center, Louisville, KY. She was a native of LaGrange, KY, and a longtime member of the D.A.R., Peter Foree Chapter, and St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harold M. Hammon. She is survived by sons, William (Dian) and Robert Hammon; daughter, Barbara (Francis) Vanlangendonck; grandchildren, Matthew, Beau (Michelle) and John (Danielle) Hammon, Tracey (Corwyn) Hodge, Elizabeth (Phil) Hackler, Anne (Jim) Schildknecht and Arthur and Andrew Vanlangendonck; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2009, at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange, KY. Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Pearson's. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, TN or to the Home of the Innocents, Louisville.
