BARRE – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, July 11, 2008, at 10 a.m. in St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre for Louise M. Ballard, 97, who died on July 7, 2008, at her home.The Rev. Emmanuel Ajanma was the celebrant and was assisted by Crucifer Robert Bates who also led the Prayer of the Faithful.Organist Angeline Ennis accompanied vocalists Mary Whyte and Romeo Bilodeau.Interment followed in Hope Cemetery in Barre with Rev. Ajanma offering the committal prayers. Bearers were nephews, Steve Goulette and William Goulette and Charlie Satterfield.The arrangements were under the direction of the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre.
