JORDAN, Louise "Choppy" Age 88, of Galeton, PA, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born January 23, 1921, in Galeton, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jennie (Siriani) Cardman. She was a 1939 graduate of Galeton High School. On December 13, 1947, she married Norman F. Jordan, who survive. Choppy worked at Galeton Production as a Supervisor for 32 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of St. Bibiana's Catholic Church in Galeton, the Women of the Moose, and the Women's League of St. Bibiana's. Surviving besides her husband are a Godchild, Cathy Smith, Galeton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Louise was predeceased by nine siblings. Friends may call at St. Bibiana's Catholic Church, Galeton, on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph Dougherty as Celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bibiana's Catholic Church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton.
