Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crestwood Chapel for Louise Jackson, 85, Gadsden, who died Wednesday, May 9, 2007. Brother Hub Wells will officiate. Burial to follow in adjoining cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home directing.Louise was 85 years old. She was a 1939 graduate of Emma Sansom High School. She was the wife of a Baptist minister and was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, friend and member of Bob Locke Baptist Church. She was loved by everyone and has left an empty place in our hearts. Her memory will live on forever. Mother, we love you always.She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. V.E. Jackson.She is survived by children, Myra (Charles) Crowell, Vernon Ezell (Gwen) Jackson Jr., Zelma (Norm) Carpenter, Danny (Cindy) Jackson and Becky Jackson; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.Pallbearers will be family.Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
