Louise Hollingsworth Rogers, 69, of Spartanburg, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, at RoseCrest Retirement Center. A native of Cross Hill, she was the daughter of the late James T. and Mary Griffin Hollingsworth. She was retired from the Social Security Administration and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. A graduate of Clinton High School and Columbia College, she was a volunteer at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Mary Black Memorial Hospital, Mobile Meals Service and Total Ministries. Survivors include a brother, Robert T. Hollingsworth, and his wife, Carolyn H. Hollingsworth, of Cross Hill; a sister, Mrs. John L. (Gladys H.) Adair, of Cross Hill; a stepsister, Ann M. Verenes, of Aiken; a brother-in-law, Willard L. Lawrimore, of Hemingway; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Jocelyn H. Lawrimore. Visitation will be from 9:45 to10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Paul M. Petersen and the Rev. Charles H. Horne. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m., at Liberty Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Cross Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Springs Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 165, Cross Hill, SC 29332.
