CARTER Louise G. Carter, 73, went to join two grandchildren in heaven on March 17, 2008. She was a native of Charlton County, Georgia and had lived in Jacksonville for 60 years. Mrs. Carter was a member of New Hope Baptist Temple, she had owned and operated Don Carter Realty for 25 years and was one of the original computer programmers with the Duval County School Board. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald Carter, her son, Dr. Derrick Carter, (Judy), daughter, Donna Carter; brothers, Dewitt Wainright and Garland McClain; and her sister, Mae Conner, 6 grand- children and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Temple with Rev. Charles E. Boldt officiating, interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
