Louise Davis, 96, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2011. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Ralph (Jack) W. Davis. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Wright and Nancy Lewis, both of Ormond Beach, and a son Jack W. Davis of Phoenix, Arizona. Louise was a member of Tomoka United Methodist Church and O.E.S. chapter 296 in Ormond Beach. Over the years she enjoyed playing golf at Oceanside Country Club and Tomoka Oaks Country Club as well as other golf courses throughout the United States. She was an avid reader and bridge player. Jack and Louise raised their family in Pittsburgh, Pa before retiring to Ormond Beach in 1966. Those left to cherish her memory are her children and their spouses, her brother George King, eight grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Louise's funeral will be at Tomoka United Methodist Church, 1000 Old Tomoka Rd., Ormond Beach (across from Tomoka Elementary School) on Saturday, September 17 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice, 2381 Mason Ave, Suite 100, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
