GODWIN Louise Caldwell Godwin, 75, of Glen St. Mary, passed away on Sat., July 13, 2002. She was a native and lifelong resident of Baker County. She was the daughter of the late Carry and Frances Hicks Caldwell. Her sons, Bobby and Ronnie Godwin; her sisters, Grace Newmans, Cassie Keene and Edna Johns; brothers, Noah and Owen Caldwell, all precede her in death. She was a member of the Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include her daughters, Frances (Terry) Newman of Davenport, Winfred (Billy) Thompson of Glen St. Mary, Lucille (Tim) Fox of Macclenny, Mary (Luther) Pringle of Bryceville, and Joann (Pete) Parish of Sanderson; sons, Alfred (Carolyn) Godwin, William (Cleo) Godwin, all of Glen St. Mary, and Billy (Susan) Godwin of Sanderson; grandchildren, Michael Newman, John Newman, Alfred Godwin, Jr., Carol Lee Raspberry, Eugene Newmans, Angie Corder, Eugene Harvey, Jimmy Thompson, Carl Thompson, John Thompson, Kenny Thompson, Jenny Thompson, Dana Phillips, Kary Godwin, Eric Godwin, Michelle Tracy, Tammy McVay, Nancy Prevatt, Johnny Daniels, Stephanie Daniels, Meri Fox-Szauter, Michael Fox, Edward Fox, Laura Fox- Goharioon, Theresa Fox-Hornsby, Robert Pringle, James Pringle, Randall Pringle, Lori Ann Davis, Kevin Williams, Stephanie Parish, George Parish, Joseph Parish and Crystal Godwin; 66 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 17 at 11 a.m. in the Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church, with Rev. Oral Lyons, Rev. Mark Woods, and Rev. David Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Manntown Cemetery, Glen St. Mary. Active Pallbearers are, Terry Starling, Jessie Hulett, William Jones, Kimp Davis, Preston Davis, and Mike Jarrell. Honorary bearers are, Henry Mobley, Darrell Newmans, William (Bill) Rhoden, George Rhoden, Gene Lyons, and Roger Woods.
