Louise-C. Harrington, née en 1919, conjointe de John Harrington, fille de Joseph et Mary, est décédée le 27 avril 2009 à l'âge de 90 ans.
HARRINGTON Louise C., 90, of Wallington, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Norris of New Bedford, Massachusetts, died on Monday, April 27, 2009, Louise was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, John, in 2002. She is survived by her sons: Jack of Rutherford, James of Montclair, Dennis of Maine and Paul of Maryland; by her sister, Eileen Paul of Massachusetts; by her grandchildren, Maura and Eilish of Montclair, Luke, Amber, Nora, Bryna, and Anne of Maine; and by one great-grandchild, Maya of Maine. Since the early 1950's, Louise was a parishioner and communicant of St. Joseph R.C. Church in East Rutherford, where she was a longtime member of the Rosary Altar Society and of the Mother's Club. A graduate of New Bedford High School and diplomate of Bryant College, Louise worked for The Prudential Insurance Company before her marriage. After 17 years of service at New Jersey Bank, where she had been editor of The Echologue, the bank's newsletter, Louise retired in 1983. During her retirement, Louise enjoyed oil painting, reading, philology, traveling, music, and the company of her family and friends. Funeral from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 9 AM and with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, East Rutherford at 9:30 AM. Interment will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Memorial donations to Parish Nursing Interfaith Outreach, Wallington Presbyterian Church, 9 Bond St., Wallington, NJ 07057 would be appreciated.
