Louise Guest Bell, 85, was born on December 8, 1923, of 3 Blue Mountain Drive, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at her home. Born in Greenville County, she was the widow of Lindell A. Bell and was a daughter of the late Herman K. and Clara Lee Welborn Guest. Mrs. Bell was retired from Steel Heddle and was a member of Berea First Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Surviving are a daughter, Iris Lynn Bell Tillotson, and husband, Richard, of Greenville; two grandsons, Jeff Tillotson and wife, Toni, of Easley, S.C., Brian Tillotson and wife, Nina, of Greenville; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Thomas Tillotson; a sister, Gladys West and her husband, Col. Marcus West, of Yankeetown, Fla. She was predeceased by a son, Danny Louis Bell; a sister, Virginia Thomas; and a brother, Fred Guest. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, with burial in Cox Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Marietta, SC. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 8, 2009, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Berea First Baptist Church, Winyah Community Hospice Care and Meals on Wheels. The family will be at 16 Fenwick Lane, Greenville.
