OKEECHOBEE - Louise Anderson of Okeechobee died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013. She was born October 7, 1927 in Savannah, Georgia to Horace Etheren and Mary Francis Zipperer. She came to Okeechobee in 1962. She was a member of the V.F.W. and she enjoyed traveling, gambling, poker machines and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her daughter, Gloria McGee of Okeechobee; three grandchildren, Donald McGee, Jr. of Jacksonville, Tonya Ammon (Kevin) of Dayton, Ohio and Les McGee (Krystal) of Okeechobee; four great grandchildren, Shayne, Kyle, Conner and Charlee; and sister-in-law, Qudene Zipperer of Savannah, Georgia. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
