Avis de décès de Louis Millet


Louis Millet passed away on January 18, 2005. He was born on July 18, 1923 to Andrew and Blanche Millet in Nebraska City, Nebraska. A World War II Merchant Marine and Marine Corp s veteran, he served in the Pacific Islands. On April 17, 1945, on a three-day pass, he married Elsie Flanders in Upland, California. After his tour of duty, they moved to Omaha, Nebraska while Louis finished his education, moving to Rancho Cucamonga in 1947. Louis worked for Pacific Aeromotive as an aircraft mechanic and as a letter carrier for the Rancho Cucamonga Post Office for 32 years, retiring in 1992. They had two sons, Ronald and Richard and raised Elsie's younger brother, Ross. He is survived by his wife, Elsie, of almost 60 years; his two sons, Ronald of Desert Hot Springs, Richard (wife Nancy) of Rancho Cucamonga; grandchildren, Robert MIllet (wife Dora), Jeff and Michelle Millet of Rancho Cucamonga, Kevin (wife Andrea) of Highland, Brian Millet (wife Lydea) of San Bernardino, Linda Enger (husband Danny) of Big Bear, Alli and Nathan Millet of Rancho Cucamonga and Mia Millet of Highland. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert Millet (wife Elinor) of Golden, Colorado and Francis Millet o f Lincoln, Nebraska; sisters, Mary Lou Warnke (husband Vernon) of Syracuse, Nebraska, Pauline Long of Prescott Valley, Arizona and Betty Donovan (husband Pat) of Wichita, Kansas. Louis was a devoted family man. His family was his hobby and his life revolved around them. His favorite past time was going out to breakfast with his family and friends. He was always ready to go whenever any one would call. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, but we will remember him for his big smile and t winkling eyes.
