LAPOINTE, Louis (Ex-RCAF) 1935 - 2011 Passed away peacefully at Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital after a long, valiant battle with leukemia. Survived by his wife Margo (nee Jobin), son Steven, daughter-in-law Chihiro, granddaughter Maia, brother Gaston, as well as brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be greatly missed. His family will receive condolences at Maison funeraire Lepine-Cloutier, Parc commemoratif La Souvenance (301 Rang Ste-Anne, Sainte-Foy, Quebec) on Friday, March 4 from 9:30am to 11am, followed by a service in the chapel. Interment of his ashes will take place at the National Military Cemetery (Beechwood) in Ottawa later this spring, date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Hospital, Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
