Louis J. Andersonof EndicottLouis J. Anderson, 75, of Endicott, died at his residence Saturday, August 28, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer for the past five years. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Viva; and a brother, James. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Ellie); two daughters, Tina Brown, and Kim and Daryl Savage, both of North Carolina; two sons Randy and Jennifer Anderson, and Shawn Anderson, both of Endicott; eight grandchildren, Nathan, Amanda, Robin, Sarah, Brad, Autumn, Jaz, and Abbey; one great-grandchild, Leah; also two sisters, Helen and Bernard Kohler and Marguerite and Mark Avery; and his fishing buddy, Jim; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Louis was a retired IBM Corp. Employee with 34 years of service, member of its Quarter Century Club and was a veteran of the Korean War. The family would like to thank Dr. Kloss and the oncology nurses for their care and loving support to Lou over the years.Funeral and Interment Services will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend John Hawco, Pastor of Union Center Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Maine Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from evening from 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Hospice c/o Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
