-> Lottie Mae Carter, 93, died Monday morning November 3, 2003 at her residence in Brantley County after an brief illness. She is a native and lifelong resident of Brantley County. She was a homemaker and member of High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church. She is the daughter of the late Raymond Lee and Mary Hickox Lee. She is the wife of the late Mannen M. Carter. She is also preceded in death by two daughters, Elna Whitfield and Cynthia Gail; and two grandsons, David and Mark Carter. She is survived by six daughters, Runell Adams (Mason) of Covington, Francine Bennett (Gene) of Millwood, Myra Tucker of Savannah, Wanda Davis (Ken) of Hoboken, Lawanna Cook (Eddie) of Brunswick and DeLoyce Underwood (Rus) of Brunswick; two sons, Norris Carter of Covington and Roger Carter (Nola) of Blackshear; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Mary Wainright of Nahunta, Lucy McIntosh of Hilliard, FL, Vannie Crews of Jacksonville, FL, Zoie Meadows of Hoboken, Hazel Justice of Waycross and Susie Simms of Marietta; brother, Jerome Lee of Birmingham, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church. Burial: Mars Hill Cemetery.
