Lorraine R. Pelletier lifelong resident of Lowell; 67 LOWELL Lorraine R. (Violette) Pelletier, age 67, a longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died Saturday, October 18th, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Roger E. Pelletier with whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage this past January. Born in Lowell, MA, on March 2, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Clarinda (Duval) Violette. She attended Lowell schools. A lifelong resident of Lowell, she was a member of the former Ste. Jeanne D'Arc Parish. In her earlier years, she had managed the Cameo Diner located in the Centralville section of Lowell. Lorraine was an avid bingo player, enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Sandra Wright of Lowell and her partner, Joseph Vitale of Lawrence, Diane Beauchesne and her husband, Robert of Nashua, NH, Laurie Anderson and her husband, David of Lowell; two brothers, Armand Violette and his companion, Gail Nagle of Lowell, Ernest Violette and his wife, Eva of Methuen; five grand-children, Donald Wright, Brianna Beauchesne, Allison Beauchesne, Katie Anderson, Erin Anderson. Also survived by nieces & nephews; and many dear friends. She was also the mother of the late Sharon A. Martin, and sister of the late Jeannette Wacome, Roger Violette. PELLETIER Lorraine R. (Violette) Pelletier, age 67, a longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died Oct. 18, 2008. She was the beloved wife of Roger E. Pelletier. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, Oct. 21st at the ARCHAMBAULT FUNERAL HOME, 309-311 Pawtucket St., Lowell from 4 to 8 P.M. followed by a Prayer Service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Memory of Lorraine may be made to the VNA Hospice of Greater Lowell, P.O. Box 1965, Lowell, MA 01853-1965.
