Lorraine M. Whitman Drake Went to be with the angels on January 6, 2007. She was born on August 16, 1916 and moved to Florida in 1969 from Elmira, NY. She was predeceased by her husbands, Charles I. Drake in 1969, and Robert Ferguson in 1999. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James D. and Joan Drake of DeLand, FL; also granddaughters, Deborah (Tim) Murray of Bridgewater, NJ, Catherine (Michael) Abel of Crowley, TX, and Ann-Margaret Edgerly of Horseheads, NY; six great-grandchildren; also by her sister, Ruth Weiland of Elmira, NY. She will always be remembered as a sweet, gentle lady. Those wishing to remember Lorraine may give memorials to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler County, Florida. Memorial services will be held at the Chapel at Hospice of Port Orange, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, at 2 p.m. on the 25th of January.
