Lorraine M. Whitman Drake Ferguson went to be with the angels on January 6, 2007. Born August 16, 1916, she moved to Florida in 1969 from Elmira, N.Y. She was predeceased by husbands, Charles I. Drake in 1969, and Robert Ferguson in 1999. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James D. and Joan Drake, DeLand; granddaughters, Deborah (Tim) Murray, Bridgewater, N.J., Catherine (Michael) Abel, Crowley, Texas, and Ann-Margaret Edgerly, Horseheads, N.Y.; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ruth Weiland, Elmira, N.Y. She will always be remembered as a sweet, gentle lady.Those wishing to remember Lorraine may give memorials to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Counties. Memorial service will be held at the Chapel at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Counties, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 25.
