Lorraine E. Davis, 79, of 138 Cantrell Circle, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Palmetto Baptist Easley.Mrs. Davis was born in Transylvania County, N.C. a daughter of the late Elijah and Jedara Galloway Owens. She was retired from Brunswick Yarns in Pickens after 29 years service and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughter Eloise Esuary (Gary) of Pickens; two grandchildren Denise Gray (Jamie), Scott Esuary (Angela); five great-grandchildren Taylor, Bailee, and Landon Gray and Trisden and Addyson Esuary. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Laurence Owens, Edward Owens, Wayne Owens, and Clarence Owens, and two sisters Ardell Morgan, and Pearl Davis.Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, December 28 at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens with The Reverend Mike Belcher officiating.A message of condolence may be expressed to the Davis family by visiting www.dillardfunerals.comThe family is at the home.
