LORRAINE RUTH BOER (VAN ZUIDAM) CROWN POINT, IN Lorraine Ruth Boer (Van Zuidam) age 75 of Crown Point, IN formerly of Lansing, IL passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2007. She is survived by her husband, Hank; children: Diane (Vern) Dekker, Larry (Brenda) Van Zuidam, Tami (Steve) Boskamp and Mark (Karyn) Van Zuidam; daughter-in-law, Deborah (late David) Van Zuidam; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters: Millie (Hank) Yonkman and Jackie (Jim) Henderson; brother, Rev. George (Eunice) Mossel; stepchildren: Linda (Randy) Smit, Jim (Janet) Boer and Brenda (Paul) Hoekstra six step- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loren "Bud" Van Zuidam; and her son, David Van Zuidam. Lori was a member of First Reformed Church in Lansing, IL and was an employee of The Bible League. She was also the former owner of Van Zuidam Family Restaurant in South Holland, IL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at First Reformed Church, 3134 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL with interment following at Oakridge Cemetery in Lansing. Friends may visit with the family at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 2:00-5:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. In lieu of flwoers, memorials may be made to the Bible League.
