DAVIS, Lorne Hodgdon WWII Veteran Edinburgh Masonic Member Lorne passed away peacefully at his residence on October 19, 2007, with his family by his side, after a battle with complications from heart disease, in his 89th year. Born in Richmond, Ontario on February 5, 1919 to Mary and Hugh Davis. Loving husband of Laura Spencer Davis (nee Fluker). Dear father of John (Tammy) of Prince George B.C., and Barbara Saunders (Dave) of Ottawa. Proud grandfather of Patrick, Philip, Mathieu, Lillian and John. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.), Nepean on Wednesday, October 24 from 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
