BALLSTON LAKE, N.Y. Loretta Van Horn, 76, of Ballston Lake, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Community Hospice of Schenectady, after a long illness. She was the wife of Edward D. Van Horn. Born and educated in DuPont, Pa., she resided in the Bronx from the 1950s until moving to Ballston Lake in 1995. She was a sales clerk at Alexander's Department Store in the Bronx for many years. Roller skating with her husband was a special passion for Loretta. She enjoyed watching figure skating and the New York Rangers Hockey. Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Edward (Lisa) J. Van Horn of Clifton Park and George (Bridgette) Van Horn of Columbus, Ind.; six grandchildren, Allison, Sarah, Rachel, Bobby and Shannon Van Horn, and Justin Mitchell; and two great-grandchildren, Rosa and Angela Robinson.
