JORDAN, LORETTA PEARLBell - Loretta Pearl Jordan passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 06, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. She was 56 years old. Loretta was born on December 18, 1951 in Orlando, FL., to Rufus Albert Jordan and Myra Sullivan Jackson. Loretta moved to Bell, FL., 18 years ago from Dade City, FL. She was a member of Huxford Genealogical Society, a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Lynn Jordan Edwards who died on May 30, 2003 in Bell, FL., She is also preceded in death by her sister, Billie Janell Davis and 2 brothers; Rufus Michael Jordan & Glenn Stuart Jordan. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Jordan of Bell, FL., her mother, Myra Sullivan Jackson of Clermont, FL., 2 sisters: Alice Phipps of Bell, FL., and Ashley Jordan of Crystal River, FL., and 2 grandchildren: Nicholas Christian Edwards of Gainesville, FL., and Cory Shane Edwards of Bell, FL. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 09, 2008 at 11:00a.m. at Townsend Cemetery with Sister Margarita Romo conducting the service.
