Lois Tidwell Davis, 82, died Jan. 9, 2009, at her home. She was born in Turkey Creek and lived in Port St. Lucie for 11 years, coming from Belle Glade. Before retirement, she was executive director of the Belle Glade Housing Authority. She was an active member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Belle Glade. Survivors include her daughter, Robyn M. Davis of Monticello; sons, Harold Davis of Port St. Lucie and Robert Davis of Monticello; and sister, Barbara A. Tidwell of Tampa. Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. SERVICES: A memorial service will be at a later date.
