WALPOLE, N.H. -- Lois L. Johnson, 87, of Applewood, died Sunday, March 23, 2003, at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene after a period of failing health.Mrs. Johnson was born Oct. 18, 1915, in Burlington, Vt., the daughter of Israel and Effie (Bullock) Fogg. She attended schools in Lebanon. In 1950, she married Walter Johnson in Lynn, Mass., who died in 1964.She worked as a bookkeeper for Budget Pool, General Electric, and Prudential. Affectionately known as “Auntie,” she greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.She was a member of the Third Congregational Church in Alstead.She is survived by four nieces, Carol Hunter of North Walpole, Bette Jane Turcotte of Manchester, and Yvonne LaBombard and Muriel Maville, both of Lebanon; and two nephews, Malcolm Fogg of Springfield, Vt., and David Fogg of Temecula, Calif.She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Fogg, and a sister, Hazel Wilcox.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 31, at the Third Congregational Church in Alstead. There will be a graveside service at the Glenwood Cemetery in Lebanon at 2:30 p.m.Memorial donations may be made to the Walpole Ambulance, Walpole, N.H. 03608.
