Lois Jean Miller, 61, of Springfield, passed away in Cox South Hospital on July 8, 2008. Lois was born August 6, 1946, in Burge Hospital, in Springfield, to Marie S. (Byrd) and Harold C. Miller. She graduated from Glendale High School and received the Lord at a young age. She worked several years for Joe Kastendieck Insurance Co. and the State of Missouri. She loved her cats and dogs and was a member of East Side General Baptist Church. Lois was preceded in death by her father; She is survived by her son, Andy Miller and wife, Patty; her mother; brothers, Paul McQuay and wife, Sue, Charles Miller and wife, Connie and Kevin Miller and wife, Lisa; sisters, Judy Starnes and husband, Paul, and Sandra Miller; and "adopted son" Timmy Hawley.
