JORDAN, Lois Jane Distel, 81, of Tampa, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009, at St. Joseph' s Hospital following an extended illness. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Louise Noel; and her son, Dennis Gene Jordan; grandchildren, Valerie April Noel and fiance, Travis Sapp, Victoria Ashley Noel and Rodney Marsh Jordan; and great-grandchild, Lane Matthew. Mrs. Jordan was an Air Force wife for many years and an active volunteer before going to work for United Electronics Institute in Tampa where she retired in 1990, as Placement Director. The family will receive friends at 3 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2009, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m., conducted by Pastor John Hillmer of Grace Lutheran Church. The family wishes to express their gratitude to F. Dean Faghih, M.D. for his loving care over the past several years. The family would also like to thank the members of G.L.C. for their prayerful support.
