Lois Fern McLeod August 30, 1935 - March 08, 2004 McLEOD, Lois Fern - 68, Dartmouth, passed away Monday, March 8, 2004, at home. Born in River Hebert, she was a daughter of the late Melburn and Mary Ann (Maloney) Porter. Lois was employed with Kmart Department Store in Dartmouth before her retirement. Surviving are her son, Gary (Joanne) McLeod, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Erica and Lindsay; brother, Donald. She was predeceased by her husband, Allen Earl; brothers, Joseph, Garnet, Merle; sister, Daisey Anderson; sister-in-law, Chris Porter. Visitation will be held 2-3 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, with funeral service 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, both in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, Rev. James Haughn officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Amherst, at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations in Lois's memory may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
