Retired Medical Transcriptionist AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Friday, October 10, 2003 at Kentwood Nursing home, Mrs. Lois Elizabeth Lee of Augusta. Family members include her daughters, Mrs. Windell ' Betty' Gibbs of Hesperia, Calif., Mrs. Jacob 'Jane' Berger of Augusta, Ms. Janice Anderson of Augusta; son, James C. Milligan of North Augusta; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a number of great- great grandchildren. Mrs. Lee was a native of and was raised in Savannah, but lived for many years in Alameda, California. She moved to Augusta in the last years of her life to be near her children. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with a wonderful sense of humor. She retired as a medical transcriber. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was a Baptist. Private graveside will be held in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah. Memorials may be made to Kentwood Nursing Home: 1227 West Wheeler Rd.
