Lloyd Wayne Moore, age 78, of Nixa, went into the open arms of his Savior, Wednesday, March 26, 2008. He was born Febru ary 9, 1930, in Mansfield, the son of Oscar and Ruth (Davis) Moore. He served his country as a U.S. Marine. On September 9, 1950, he and Yvonne Haskins were united in marriage. Mr. Moore was a retired builder and carpenter. He was a member of Nixa Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne; three sons, Kenneth and wife Twila and their sons, Tyler and Austin; Terry and his son Trey and wife Jill; and Jeffrey and wife, LeAnn, and their sons, Lucas and Lance; two brothers, Delbert, Springfield, and Robert, Ava; and two sisters, Ruby Buchannon, and Virginia Linder, both of Ava. His parents preceded him in death as well as a brother, Clifford. A graveside funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, in McConnell Bledsoe Cemetery, Nixa. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
