Lloyd Thomas Moore September 29, 1927 - August 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) MOORE, Lloyd Thomas - 77, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully August 13, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary Moore. Lloyd retired from DND after 25 years of service. His passion was to spend time at his camp in Little Harbour with his family and friends. Surviving are sons, Pat, Mike (Bridgid), both of Dartmouth; daughters, Karen, Lower Sackville; Darlene (Jim), Dartmouth; brother, Kenny, Bramalea, Ont.; sisters, Dot, Dartmouth; Winnie (Gordan), Hamilton, Ont.; Norma (Al), Toronto, Ont.; grandson, Shawn, Moncton, N.B.; stepgrandchildren, Jodi, Brenda and Michael; great-grandson, Zachery, Moncton, N.B.; step great-grandchildren, Baleigh, Brooklyn and Bria; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Ralph; sister, Marion; brother-in-law, Cliff; sister-in-law, Daphne. Arrangements entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where visitation will take place 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. John Porter officiating. Private family burial to be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Lloyd's memory to the T.C.U. Ward, Dartmouth General Hospital or the Halifax Optimist Club.
