Lloyd Johnson, 86, died June 21, 2008, at Treasure Coast Hospices, Fort Pierce. Born in Northumberland, Pa.., he was a resident of Port St. Lucie. Before his retirement, he was a lab technician for the Charles Pfizer Co. for 34 years. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a singer in the Faith Lutheran Church choir for 30 years. He was a member of the Majestic Nooank community band. He also was a member of the Merrimak Senior Center and played the guitar in a band called The Moms and Pops. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Jerdis Johnson of Fort Pierce; daughter, Karen Keary of Bedford, N.H.; son, Thomas Johnson of Port St. Lucie; sister, Jane Lathrop of Norwich, Conn.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. SERVICES: Arrangements are by Veterans Cremation and Burial Society, Stuart.
