Lloyd Edwards Moore - SAVANNAH - Lloyd Edwards Moore, 83, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at the Bryan County Nursing Home in Richmond Hill, Ga, under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc. He was born in Savannah, and was raised and educated in the Marlow & Faulkville, Ga Areas of the County. He was retired from the Savannah Fire Department, after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Garden City Primitive Baptist Church. He was a former Mason, member of the Scottish Rite Consistory - Valley of Savannah, and Alee Shrine Temple. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, and a member of the Tar City Hunting Club. He is survived by his wife, Barbara S. Moore, Savannah, Ga; two sons, John R. Moore (Nadean) of Kite, Ga; and Lloyd E. Moore (Maryann) of Guyton Ga., two daughters, Linda Maria (Manzy) Brown, Debra Ann Moore, both of the Ogeechee River, two stepsons, Walter Allan Horton (Debbie) of Virginia Beach, Va; and Darrell Edward Horton of Savannah, Ga; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Fairhaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at the Garden City Primitive Baptist Church, with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery at Meldrim, Ga.
