HAMILTON _ Lloyd Clayton November 17, 1923 - October 16, 2006 Beloved husband, father, grandfather and "More" Grandpa, went peacefully to be with the Lord, surrounded by the love of his family. He was special in every way. A devoted, loving husband and best friend to Eileen for 61 years. An amazing Dad always there for his family. Survived by children Janice (Warren), Danny (Julie) and Lorraine (Ray), 6 grandchildren Lisa (Steve), Kathy (Brian), Kerri (Olav), Lori, Cindy (Tim) and Greg. A "More Grandpa" to 9 great grandchildren - the added "blessings" of his life, Parker, Lucas, Shelby, Hunter, Ethan, Oliver, Kailee, Nathan and Noah. Also survived by sister Hazel Collisson,, brother-in-law Roy Scott and many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. He joined the family business, "F.N. Plumbing & Heating" in 1938 until retirement in 1968. He served in the RCAF for 3 years, stationed in Alberta at RR #10 depot in Calgary, serving as an airframe mechanic. Lloyd was always known as a gracious, compassionate, caring man. A person of integrity and gifted with a creative flair to fix and design anything. The family would like to thank Dr. J. Rogerson, Dr. James, Dr. Learner and all the hospitalists, Delta Hospital staff and Beach Grove Residence staff, for all their special care to Lloyd. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 10:30 am, Ladner Baptist Church, 5624 Ladner Trunk Rd, Ladner, BC, Reception to follow.
