Moore, Lisa M. WATERVLIET Lisa M. Moore, 42, passed into eternal life on Friday November 13, 2009 at Albany Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Floyd M. Race and Mildred L. Halpin. Although Lisa lived only a short time here on earth, she was a wonderful mother, she had many friends and she touched so many lives. She will be remembered by her great sense of humor, her love of animals and the love she had for her four daughters and two cherished grandchildren. Lisa is survived by her husband, William Moore of Troy; her dear friend, Rick Hill of Watervliet. She was the mother of Amanda Wood of Troy, Cassandra Moore of Troy, Sara Moore of Troy and Rebecca Moore of Watervliet. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Aundrea Moore and Chase Wood, both of Troy; her stepmother, Joanne Race of Inverness, Fla.; sisters, Judy Race of Jamestown, Colo., Lori (Bill) Pizer of Malta; sister-in-law, Brunehilde Race of Bradenton, Fla.; brothers, Thomas Race of Largo, Fla., Jeff (Kim) Race of Middle Grove. Lisa was predeceased by her stepfather, John Halpin, mother, Mildred L. Halpin, brother, William C. Race and father, Floyd M. Race. The funeral service for Lisa will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy, N.Y.
