Lisa Christine Moore (nee Jenkinson) March 21, 1970 - March 11, 2008 After a courageous five-year battle with breast cancer, Lisa Christine Moore passed away peacefully in the early hours of March 11 with her husband by her side. Lisa leaves behind her husband Scott (Sam) and children Jacob and Matthew; parents John and Edith Jenkinson, brothers David and Stephen, sister-in-law Nicole, niece Aimee and nephew Kyle, also John, Donna and Todd Moore and many loving relatives in eastern Canada. Also mourning with great sadness is Lisa's extended family: Anne, Peter, James and Lloyd Jenkinson and family, grandmother Nell Hutchings, Ann Robinson, Uncle Joe and many other relatives in England. Lisa also leaves behind family in Leduc, AB; Erika, Oma, Jennifer, Megan and Andrew, and too many friends to name. She will be dearly missed by all. Lisa's greatest joy was her children and family. She fought long and hard, and if cancer could be beaten by determination and love, she would be with us today. Lisa's boys now have an angel to watch over them. Lisa's family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Klimo and the staff at Lion's Gate Chemo Clinic, the Delta Hospital and Hospice Society and the Nanaimo Palliative Care Unit for their care and support, and to Lisa's employer, Whitewater West. A service for Lisa will be held Saturday, March 15 at 5:00 p.m. at the Parish Centre Hall at Sacred Heart, 3900 Arthur Road, Ladner, B.C. Reception to follow. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made in Lisa's memory to the Lion's Gate Hospital Chemo Clinic.
