LISA J. BROWN CROWN POINT, IN Lisa J. Brown (1956 – 2008) of Lakes of Four Seasons, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Lisa was born in Lafayette, IN on October 29, 1956. She grew up in the Chicago area. She graduated from Rich Central High School, Olympia Fields, IL. Lisa attended Indiana University and was a graduate of McComb College. She worked 21 years for Whiteco Data and later for Certified Dealer Services in Crown Point, IN. Lisa loved gardening, woodworking, basket weaving and quilting. She had a special love of orchids and cacti, especially the saguaro cacti and visited the national park. Lisa is survived by her parents: Gene and Beverly Brown of Valparaiso, IN; and brother, Scott (Angela) Brown of Okemos, MI. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN with Rev. Tom Hamilton officiating. Private interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, IN. Friends may visit with the family at the Burns Funeral Home on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
