Williams, Dr. Lindasue LinnAug. 2, 1942 - Mar. 20, 2014Dr. Lindasue Linn Williams of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Ligonier, PA passed away peacefully on March 20, 2014 at the Lakewood Ranch Tidewell Hospice. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 9th at 3:00 pm at The Church of the Palms and announced later at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Ligonier, PA. Lindasue was a Professor of Education, Emeritus, at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was the founder of the Covenant Christian Preschool in Ligonier, a member of the DAR local chapters in PA and FL, a member of the St. Andrews Society and Caledonian Club in Sarasota and a writer of children's books. She is survived by her husband John, a step-daughter Margie and granddaughter Jarah, of Toronto, Canada; her sister Sally Holets of PA ; her brother Donald McCullough of MN; and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Church of the Palms Congregational Care Fund or to Covenant Presbyterian Church of Ligonier, PA. Arrangements are by Toale Brothers Funeral Homes Bradenton Chapel.
