Linda Garrett Wilson, 79, of 104 Oak Drive, widow of Joe Billy Wilson, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at the Hospice House in Greenwood.She was born in Gray Court and was the daughter of the late Ray and Lydia Riddle Garrett. Linda graduated from Gray Court-Owings High School and attended North Greenville College. She was a retired employee of Laurens Electric Cooperative. She was a member of Warrior Creek Baptist Church and member of the flower committee for the church.Surviving are her daughter and husband, Patsy W. and William E. Craine of Laurens; granddaughter and her husband, Anna and Travis Goforth of Laurens; sisters-in-law, Mary and Dot Garrett, both of Laurens; brothers-in-law and their wives, Harry and Dorothy Wilson of Jacksonville, Fla., and Bonnie and Bobbie Wilson of Laurens; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by two brothers, Rhett and Elford Garrett; and a sister and her husband, Margaret Garrett and Rev. Charles Thomas. She was the last surviving member in her immediate family.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Warrior Creek Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Dr. J.C. Collins and Rev.
