BAILEY Linda Susan Bailey, 62, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007. Born to Mary and Forrest Fulford on April 7, 1945, Sue was the wife of her loving and devoted husband of 36 years, Jim Bailey of Orange Park; mother of two loving and proud children, Carole Ann Green and her husband, Mark and Ted Bailey of Jacksonville; and adoring grandmother to Parker Green. In addition to being survived by her husband, children, and grandson, Sue is survived by her mother, Mary Fulford of Orange Park; sister Ann Williams of Marion, Virginia; sisters Jane Manjuck and Sally Grodotzke of Jacksonville; brother Forrest “Buddy” Fulford of Palmetto; and nine nieces and nephews. Sue was a special education teacher in the Duval County Public Schools for 33 years. She was a graduate of the University of Illinois in Chicago and held a master's degree in special education from the University of North Florida. She was a dedicated teacher and worked tirelessly to help children with special needs. She was twice awarded teacher of the year at Jeb Stuart Middle School and recently was employed at Jefferson Davis Middle School. Sue was part of a large and caring family and loved nothing better than being with her loved ones. She had many close and loving friends. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and co-workers. In addition to spending time with loved ones and work, Sue enjoyed reading, going to the movies, and rooting on the FSU Seminoles with Jenkie, Merla and “Bubba”. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 6-8 PM at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 950 Park Ave, Orange Park.
