Linda L. Smith, 69, died March 18, 2012. She was born in Gary, Ind., and lived in Okeechobee since 1978. Survivors include her sons, Donald Smith of Ocala, Stanley L. Stearns and Steven E. Smith, both of Okeechobee; daughters, Theresa Fivecoat of Lake Worth and Ramona Arnold of Mims; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon G.
