A celebration service will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church with Pastor Rodriguez officiating at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Friends and family are invited to a reception at the church from noon to 12:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, gifts and memorial contributions may be made to John Wesley UMC and Big Bend Hospice, Tallahassee.Linda grew up in Graceville, FL, the daughter of Mike and Viola Toole. She graduated as valedictorian from Graceville High School, acquired a BS from Florida State University, a MS from Florida A&M University and an MSW from Florida State. She was employed as an educator in the Florida school system for 30 years, with her last 23 being at Rickards High School.In retirement she worked part time at Addiction Recovery Center. Putting others before herself, she was always involved in church and school activities. She was a member of John Wesley UMC for 36 years, serving as a teacher and in many other capacities. Secondary to her passion for service to the Lord, she was a member of Taoist Tai Chi Society, serving as an instructor for many years.Linda is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Lynn Tillia (husband John) and Mary Therese Davis, grandchildren, Brandee Davis, Morgan Tillia, and Clint Davis, one great grandchild, Brea Marie Brooks, a sister Mary Toole Earnest (husband Lee), and former husband Kenneth W.
