PETERS, LINDA, 68, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2007 at her home. She was the former Linda Lee Wise, born in Colesburg, KY. Linda was a homemaker and loving mother and Nana. She was a devout Catholic, and a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, St. Margaret Mary Choir, The Silver Notes and The Bell Choir. Her passion was dancing. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Althea Wooldridge Wise; her loving husband, Kenneth M. Peters; brother, Jay Wise; and sister, Helen Calhoun. She is survived by her children, Kimberly Limb (John), Michael Peters (Marianne), Kendra Chancellor (Ron) and Kelly Lubay (Jack); eight grandchildren, Michael and Mollie, Caroline and Lillian, Tia and Ellie, Justin and Mason; brothers, Fred Wise, Dan Wise and Terry Wise (Wanda); sisters, Bobbye Lopez and Judy Clark (Don); a special niece, Kathy Ramser (Steve) and their children, Brock, Andrew, Kyle and Maeghan (Brandon) and their son, Ben; and a special friend, Elmer Glassing. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Rd., with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
