The Service of Remembrance for Mrs. Linda P. Johnson, age 79, of Inverness, Florida, will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church of Inverness, with Pastor Craig S. Davies officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Hooper Crematory, Inverness, Florida. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial donations to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Mrs. Johnson was born January 12, 1932, in Fostoria, OH, daughter of the late Donald and Helen (Kellogg) Paine. She died September 18, 2011, in Inverness, FL. She worked as an auditor and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Inverness, where she sang with the choir. She delivered meals with her husband for Meals on Wheels and was a library volunteer. Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Donald Johnson; daughters, Caryl (Raymond) Birstler, Diane (Stephen) Halpin; sister, Susan Lennertz; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.
