RUDDELL, Linda Margaret – Suddenly at the Hamilton General Hospital on November 28, 2007. Loving wife and best friend of Colin (Barney) Ruddell. Beloved mother of Jim (Anne) of Grimsby and Jessica at home. Daughter of Tom and Leala Smith. Dear sister of Tom Smith Jr. (Val), Sandy Fortushniok (Tom), Janice Pelletier (Reg), Wendy Bowen (Chris), Brian Smith (Beth), daughter-in-law of Sam and Joan Ruddell and sister-in-law of Judy Yorke (Paul). She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and so many dear friends. Linda was predeceased by her granddaughter Sam Elizabeth Ruddell. Linda retired from teaching with the Niagara District School Board after 25 years but will always be remembered for her enormous love of children. She will be missed. Linda will be at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls where her family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Cremation to follow. Donations in her memory and in memory of her granddaughter Sam Elizabeth to McMaster Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
