COLTON- Linda L. Wilson, 67, of 50 Riverside Drive, passed away Friday (July 23, 2010) at her home.Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday (July 25) at the Buck Funeral Home, 62 Riverside Drive, Colton. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday (July 26) am at the funeral home with Harvey Smith presiding. Burial will be held in St. Patricks Cemetery, Colton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Treatment Center of America, Eastern Regional Medical Center, 1331 East Wyoming Ave, Philadelphia, Pa, 19124, Hospice and Palliative Care, 6805 US Hwy, 11, Potsdam, 13676; the Knapps Station Community Church, 3035 County Route 47, Box 54, Norwood, 13668 or to the Colton Vol. Fire Dept. Building Fund, Box 304, Colton, 13625.Linda was born on August 21, 1942 in Seneca Falls to the late Ralph and Katheryn Schroeder Brunskill, she married Jerome "Jerry" Wilson on December 26, 1960. She worked as a teachers aid at Colton-Pierrepont Central School and retired from the united Helpers Nursing Home in Canton, where she was a book keeper and house keeping supervisor. In the past, Linda enjoyed snowmobiling, bowling and traveling. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Linda is survived by her husband, Jerome "Jerry" Colton; two sons, Brian Wilson of Canton and Michael (Jennifer) Wilson of Ogdensburg; her daughter, Barbara Wilson of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren; a brother, Leslie (Mary Lou) Brunskill of Sun City Center, Fla.; a sister, Shirley (Walt) Snyder of Newport Richey, Fla.; a step sister, Janet Pickhard of Seneca Falls; and several nieces and nephews.The Buck Funeral Home in Colton is serving the family of Linda L.
